New Yard Signs Available

ROSA's new yard sign (a smaller but more weatherproof version) which reads "Bennett's Pond...Save it Now, or Lose it Forever!" is now available. The green and white sign will be provided at no charge for those who purchased our previous yard sign, and for a $15 donation to all others.

Although Eureka currently has no application for development before the P&Z Commission, there is a lot going on with respect to this beautiful 680-acre property. While First Selectman Rudy Marconi is attempting to negotiate some kind of agreement with Eureka, ROSA is in the process of developing a petition for a referendum on Bennett's Pond to acquire the property, by purchase or eminent domain, as open space. The referendum will likely take place in October of this year.

Therefore, it is important that as many signs as possible are prominently displayed throughout Ridgefield to demonstrate to town officials, neighbors and friends your support for saving Bennett's Pond.

Please consider posting one on your property - email (ROSA@mags.net) us or call Jenny Bocchino at 438-5308 and we'll deliver it to you!

Thanks!
