Ridgefield resident Pete Stewart, a professional videographer and ROSA board member, has produced a 30 minute video entitled "The Case for Bennett's Pond" which is currently airing on Comcast Channel 23. Upcoming air dates are Monday, February 26 at 10:30 p.m. and Wednesday, March 7 at 8:00 p.m. Copies of the video are also available at the Ridgefield Library. The video features excerpts from interviews with State Rep. John Frey, Danbury Mayor Gene Eriquez, and Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi, as well as many ROSA members. The program also includes some nice footage and still photos of the property. We hope you will be able to catch one of the upcoming showings on Comcast
Channel 23.

BENNETT'S POND ISSUE ON LOCAL WEB SITES

ROSA's efforts toward a referendum on the Bennett's Pond property has received good coverage by the town political party web sites.

The Ridgefield Democratic Town Committee web site presently has excellent coverage of the February 19 Board of Finance meeting, with lots of photos and an article. They also have quite of bit of archived material on their site, covering our 2 year effort to save the property as open space. The Dem's site is located at:

The Ridgefield Republican Town Committee site is currently conducting a poll on whether or not the town should acquire the Bennett's Pond property by eminent domain. They also have a message board where you can offer your opinion on the subject. The RTC's site is located at:
